Dragon1999, experimental moving image with sound composition, 03:40 min.
Dragon's raw material was an animation, which was converted into a digital format, and as a result of the technological change, the artwork received a completely new visual appearance. Dragon itself is the transformation that made this video a work of art that transcends technological boundaries at the turn of the millennium. This work of art was made with several visual conversions and nine audio channels during a serious nine-month process.
Dragon won the MAIN PRIZE of the 9th WRO International Media Art Biennale.
Excerpt from the jury comments: A highly poetic evocation and virtuoso integration of image and sound. Above all, a very precise impression of a dragon.
'Dragon' won the Special Jury Prize at the L’immagine leggera International Video Art and Media Festival, Palermo, Italy; appeared in several international art events and special screenings "Best of Video Tour 2002-03” Transmediale02, Berlin; Ars Electronica, Linz, Austria; “Best Women's Art Videos of The Year 2000”, Montreal, Canada; and so on.
