Janus Heads I-III.

2026, 32 × 32 cm, digital prints of unique artworks

The images of the 'Janus Heads I–III' series appear simultaneously as abstract compositions and as face-like formations, keeping the processes of recognition and interpretation in constant motion.

The Janus motif functions as a conceptual framework rather than a direct representation. The heads turning in different directions evoke multiple viewpoints, parallel meanings, and realities existing side by side. The series can also be understood as a gradual process: a progression from isolated statements and miscommunication toward mutual attention, dialogue, and equal communication. This transformation is accompanied not only by changes in the relationships between the forms, but also by a gradual shift in colour.

The series was created using an artist-developed image-making process in which visual source material is reorganized into new image structures. The resulting compositions are not pre-drawn images but unique visual events that balance on the threshold between abstraction and recognizability.
