2002, video installation (loop), 09:00min. performer: Anita Sarosi (H)Anita Sarosi balances and dances on the border between reality and virtuality. She effortlessly connects our natural roots with the technological world we inhabit today. Her lifecycle unfolds within a “techno bubble,” seen from the zero/zenith point of a 360° camera. Everything happens around the focal point – the camera – which follows the events as an active witness, collaborating with the artist.
The process unfolds both inside and outside, simultaneously observed on an infinite projection. Sarosi masters her apparatus with sophistication, conveying profound content through a highly poetic visual language.
Anita Sarosi knows and uses the apparatus in a sophisticated and conveys deep content in a highly poetic way. This video is the most beautiful media artist statement I've ever seen.
